Fees and Payments

Fees for services will be discussed and agreed before work commences.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Payment may be required in advance.

  • Outstanding balances must be settled before final documents are released.

  • Additional work requested outside the original scope may incur additional charges.

All fees are quoted in pounds sterling (£).

Cooling-Off Period and Cancellations

Where applicable, clients may have cancellation rights under consumer protection legislation.

If work has already commenced at the client's request, charges may apply for work completed up to the date of cancellation.

Draft Documents and Amendments

Draft documents are provided for review and approval.

Clients are responsible for checking draft documents and notifying us of any amendments required.

Reasonable amendments requested during the drafting process will be accommodated where appropriate.

Additional charges may apply where substantial changes are requested after documents have been prepared.

Execution of Documents

We provide guidance regarding the execution of documents; however, clients remain responsible for ensuring documents are signed, witnessed and completed correctly.

Failure to follow signing instructions may affect the validity of documents.

Limitation of Liability

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nathan Richards Estate Planning shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses.

  • Loss of profits or business opportunities.

  • Delays caused by third parties.

  • Issues arising from inaccurate information supplied by a client.

  • Events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful.
