Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Nathan Richards Estate Planning, we aim to provide a professional, transparent and fair service to all clients.

Cooling-Off Period

Where services are purchased at a distance (for example, online, by telephone or by email), you have the right to cancel your agreement within 14 days of placing your order, unless you have specifically requested that work begins sooner.

If you choose to cancel within this cooling-off period and no work has been carried out, you will be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid.

Work Commenced During the Cooling-Off Period

If you request that we begin work before the cooling-off period has ended, and subsequently decide to cancel, we reserve the right to deduct a reasonable amount to reflect the work already completed up to the date of cancellation.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• Initial consultations

• Fact-finding and information gathering

• Drafting of documents

• Research and planning work

• Preparation of legal paperwork

• Administrative and support services

Once Work Has Been Completed

Once the agreed service has been fully delivered, completed documents have been prepared, or legal work has been substantially completed, no refund will normally be available.

This is because the service provided is personalised and tailored specifically to your individual circumstances and cannot be returned or reused.

Amendments and Corrections

We are committed to ensuring clients are satisfied with their documents. If any amendments are required to reflect instructions provided during the planning process, we will discuss these with you and make reasonable corrections where appropriate.

Appointment Cancellations

Appointments may be rearranged without charge provided reasonable notice is given.

We reserve the right to charge a fee where appointments are repeatedly cancelled at short notice or where significant travel arrangements have already been undertaken.
